Nicole recorded a conversation with a DMV clerk and the video went viral. Her son was asked to show “activity” on his bank statement when he was trying to get a a VOTER ID recently…indicating that not only did he have to provide documents, but he had to have enough finances to get a voter ID. - Alarming.
Nicole recently went to New Orleans to speak at a press briefing on ALEC - the American Legislative Exchange Council. Tweet Widget! - - I put a widget in my blog that feeds only tweets from a hand-picked set of Wisconsin tweeters. It’s helpful for the people who don’t really “get” twitter or get freaked out by the twitter trolls. I think even twitter pros like it.
Especially nice for your facebook-only pals
A Separate Chat Widget! - - Coming up very shortly, a separate chat widget for another set of people to chat about the recalls and possibly to request things for their campaign headquarters etc.
Either Appleton Wonk or I will focus on hanging out in that chat space every hour on the hour from about 9am-9PM tomorrow.
Ustreaming 9:30AM-9:30PM tomorrow - - Now this is a dicey announcement, but, both Appleton Wonk and I will have our Ustream stuff at the ready if we nab some interviewees. We’ll shoot for doing that at the half-hour mark at any given hour.
Blog theme changed - - Yeah. Great time to change a theme, right? Basically, my beautifully minimal theme wasn’t doing some stuff right. So I picked a new basic theme that works. Hope it doesn’t freak anybody out!
[If you’re pissed your account didn’t make the tweet widget: I’m sorry if you are a tweeter that did not make the cut BUT I selected peeps who were tweeting about the recalls A LOT already by Sunday.
